One day of using AI from Data Centers requires 500 millilitres of water per user just to cool the servers. A person drinks on average 1 Litre of water per day.
So AI Data Centers are on track to consume half of our daily water intake.

An AI query sent to a Data Center consumes 10x the amount of electrical energy compared to a regular search query. Data Centers currently account for 4.4% of overall electricty consumption. So as AI takes over Data Centers the consumption might reach 10 x 4.4% which is 44%. That is nearly half of all our electricity consumption.
